About me
I'm a mom of two beautiful Japanese American kids.I lived in Japan for eight years and learned how to cook the cuisine not through culinary training but by becoming a Japanese housewife. I would get tips from other Japanese housewives, co-workers and also my very picky Japanese husband. It was basically on the job training which has turned into a quest to help others see how simple and easy Japanese cooking is.

I am Mexican, Greek and Lebanese and my house, growing up, was filled with the ethnic smells and flavors of each region. At a young age, my palate was ingrained with understanding how to fuse dishes from Lebanon to dishes from Mexico. How to make Greek flavors appear out of American ingredients.

Today, I am doing the same for my family but I'm also adding a dash of the Far East to the mix. Join me in my culinary travels across the World while never leaving the comfort of my Jamerican kitchen!
